24-720mm Fujinon 30x optical zoom with Super Macro mode

The FinePix HS30EXR sports a versatile 30x optical zoom that covers focal lengths equivalent to 24-720mm. Tackle shots ranging from wide landscapes and architecture to sports and wildlife photography, when you need to get close to the action. A remarkable 1cm Super Macro mode offers an amazing close-up view of the world.

Manual zoom control

Move from the seriously wide angle to the supertelephoto with a twist of the FinePix HS30’s zoom barrel.

16-megapixel BSI EXR CMOS sensor

The HS30EXR captures enormous levels of detail with a 16-megapixel EXR CMOS sensor. The unique arrangement of red, green and blue pixels in an EXR CMOS sensor enhance vertical and horizontal resolution, as well as offering high dynamic range capabilities (now up to 1600%) and low light shooting.
The back side illuminated (BSI) structure of the EXR CMOS sensor offers a significant boost in sensitivity. In conventional designs, circuitry on the front of the sensor can reflect some of the light which could otherwise be used to form an image. By moving this to the rear of the chip, the pixels on the front of the sensor are free of obstruction. The extra light reaching them increases the sensitivity of the sensor, and boosts its performance in dim conditions.

Take control with manual and semi-automatic exposure

The HS30EXR features manual, aperture-priority and shutter-priority exposure modes, allowing you plenty of creative control of exposure.
