My microwave does not make popcorn, I type {porcorn} and the time is not enough, even though I have set it to 4 minutes and it only pops half of a mini bag. To heat a cup of water, it takes 2:30 minutes. Also, when making cookies in the oven which should last for 16 minutes, I have to give it more than 30 minutes. I believe I don't know how to use it, it's new. When I am baking, the fan at the back keeps rotating, I don't know if it is normal.
Does the turn table in my {KitchenAid KOCE500ESS} only work when I press the on/off button? Can I troubleshoot or does the unit need repair?
I have a KitchenAid built-in oven unit that has a microwave on top and a wall oven with a convection option on the bottom. It was installed in August 2020. How long will the oven retain heat after being switched off? Several recipes require it to cool down slowly to a new temperature or over a few hours to room temperature, but it seems like a fan turns on as soon as I switch off the oven or lower the temperature.
I don't know what to do as it's programmed for two seconds in any function, it turns on for two seconds and then shuts off.
