Question and answer
Number of questions: 5My coffee maker Philips lattego 5400 rinses before brewing. It's very inconvenient because I have to quickly place the cup underneath. However, it doesn't always do it. Maybe it's because I turned it off myself and then it doesn't rinse? Now it just turned off by itself and rinsed before. I'll turn it on again now. If it doesn't rinse now, everything is fine.
Our Philips LatteGo reduced the amount of water or coffee per cup without changing the settings within a week. Now, hardly any coffee comes out when we press the button. This is despite regular cleaning of the machine. What can we do?
There is no water coming out of the pipes during rinsing and only half the amount of water when making coffee.
In which direction do I need to turn in the 5400 category to adjust for a coarser grind? If I go by the size of the dots, I should turn counterclockwise. If the small marking on the left edge is the reference point, then I should turn clockwise for a coarser grind. Which one is correct? Thank you for your response. N.Schmitz
Despite emptying, it continues to display "Empty the coffee grounds box" and does not work.
